Kindle

Before I begin today's A to Z post, I need to clarify something on The Man's behalf. He is concerned that my recent post on Ingress would lead any readers to believe that he neither eats nor showers nor does anything that isn't playing Ingress. So he has asked me to tell you that he does, too, eat. And shower. On a regular basis even. And then he requested that I stop writing about him in this blog.

Oh wait...Let's maybe not mention that first paragraph to him, okay?

Anyway, let's move on with the show, shall we?

Today I'm talking about my kindle. I've had it for a little while now (a couple of years maybe?), and I'm still surprised by how much I've come to like it.

I always thought I'd be one of those die-hard physical book people, but it turns out that I am just a book person. I don't seem to care in which format it comes so long as I get to read it.

Although I do admit that some e-book prices are too high for me. If I'm going to pay $15 for a book, I'd better be able to display it on a shelf in my living room (you know, if those shelves weren't jam-packed already). But obviously I'm willing to buy books because I have over 200 titles on my E-Reader. That's over 200 books that aren't taking up valuable floor space in my house because I ran out of shelf space a year and a half ago.

The Man (whom I am not writing about in this blog...) is especially pleased by this.

Plus, with my kindle, I can do this:

Look, Ma! No glare!

Are you an e-reader/e-book person? If so, what's your chosen device, and what's the most you've ever paid for an e-book?
